Why residential, not datacenter

Datacenter proxies are cheap but instantly recognisable to Google, Cloudflare, and any serious anti-bot stack — they share IP ranges with known cloud providers and get blocked or fed cloaked content. Residential IPs come from real consumer ISPs (Comcast, Spectrum, Verizon, AT&T) and are indistinguishable from a real user browsing from their living room.

After you pre-pay a pack, we provision credentials (username, password, endpoint host:port) within one business day. The bandwidth never expires — burn it at your own pace. Top up any time; the new pack's better unit price applies retroactively to your remaining balance once you cross a tier.

FAQ

Is this legal / ToS-compliant?

Web scraping public data is legal in the US — that's settled law (hiQ vs. LinkedIn, Van Buren vs. US). However, scraping behind a login, scraping private data, or using proxies to commit fraud is not. We require all customers to use the service for legitimate purposes; we will terminate accounts caught targeting financial fraud, harassment, or other clearly illegal activities. We don't audit your traffic but reserve the right to investigate on report.

How do I authenticate?

Two options: (1) username:password sent in the proxy URL or HTTP CONNECT auth, or (2) IP-whitelist auth where you tell us your outbound IP(s) and we authorise them without credentials. Both work over HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS5.

Where do these IPs come from?

From a major upstream residential IP provider that recruits real US consumers through opt-in SDK partnerships (browser extensions, free apps, VPN apps that disclose the trade in their ToS). Consumers are compensated. The pool is regularly audited for consent and refreshed.

What's the throughput / latency?

Sticky sessions: ~50–500 ms first-byte latency depending on the residential connection, sustained throughput typically 5–30 Mbps per session. Rotating per-request: optimised for parallelism, run hundreds of concurrent threads comfortably.

What if I burn through a pack quickly?

Just buy another — no monthly minimum, no auto-renew unless you set one up. Pack pricing is fixed at purchase; if you cross a tier (e.g., 100 GB total in 30 days), we credit the difference toward your next pack.

Refund policy?

Unused bandwidth on the Starter pack is refundable within 14 days of purchase. Growth and Scale packs are non-refundable but bandwidth never expires.
